So have you ever wondered what if your life was a movie? I'm the kind of girl who has a different song for every situation (some sort of soundtrack) and I'm constantly having random monologues about everything, sometimes I even play the role of a narrator with the deep, paused voice. This is why I've put together a few situations in which I wish my life was like a movie, here they are:
Cheerleading My school does not have a football team nor a cheerleading group and I do wish we had, except for the fact cheerleaders always seem to be described as cocky, full of themself girls, it kinda looked pretty fun in movies like 'Bring it On' (all five of them 2000-2009) and many series in which Cheerleaders walk around in cute matching outfits, practicing super hard choreos like crazy, so by the time the competition starts they can give their best against equally great teams, always smiling. At least for a day.
Road trips How cool would it be getting in a car with your loved ones and just driving for hours, no destination, no fears or danger (and no worries about stopping at gas stations) with the radio on playing your favorite song, seeing all the landscapes, all the colors changing that would be aweeeesome!
Seria demasiado divertido!
Prom I always gag about it being funny to go to school all fancy and acting like adults and all but, even if I go alone, I don't want to miss the fun of Prom because it's also the last time I'll get to have such kind of fun at school with my mates and I do wish I had the traditional Prom you see in movies: all sparkly, with the balloons and fairy lights hanging just like in Sofia Coppola's Virgin Suicides, great music, the prom punch and obviously great ambiance. Oh and a great Prom Queen speech, regardless of who she is, the speech needs to be good and if she decides to smash her crown and give a tiny piece to every girl just like Cady from ''Mean Girls'' I'll admit it lacks originality but I'll still applaud! It's way too funny!

Love I am not the most romantic person around, but I do feel and I do wish love was like the one in movies, you love someone and even if they don't love you back you're completely fine (and still haven't gained a million pounds over the chocolate you've eaten) because eventually you find out he wasn't the one and suddenly, out of blue an even better guy comes and he's totally perfect, he's not corny at all, he knows you and is willing to carry a super heavy boom box to your window playing In Your Eyes by Peter Gabriel (yes, John Cusack I'm talking about you), just that kind of stuff. That would be nice or at least it would make things much easier (which also makes me ask ''but then where is the fun?'' I'm sure it isn't in gaining weight over what you've eaten to mend your heart but still, I'm also glad it isn't totally like the perfect stories they portrait in movies).
This is it, I hope you liked this post and tell me your opinion about it!
