Hi school!

huh? do you get it? huh huh, I tricked you it's HIGH SCHOOL!
So, I'm finally getting close to my highschool days... Here, highschool beggins at the age of 15, while going from 9th grade to 10th! This year it'll be totally focused on art, because I'll be studying arts for the next 3 years!
I'm pretty excited, my school is fine because it's nothing like those movies where highschool is a nightmare, please....
...comparing to that my school is green land full of SLEEPY sheeps! It'll be fine, because everyone treats me well!

I've changed a lot since last year.. and all my fellow readers can see that!

You can see I've changed a lot in a year! I'm growing up really fast and... I'm proud of the person I am, since I can make people happy and be happy I think my life is complete!
So yes, not a great post but, means a lot! xxx, Rita

Recipe for total relaxation

Well, I don't adore summer but my Summer Holidays last 2 months and a half which gets pretty much boring at some point. Today, after coming from ballet class I felt like listening to Bon Iver, one of my favorite bands and then I went to rainymood.com while listening to Blood Bank:
If you like those rainy and cold winter days home you'll appreciate it...
... it's so relaxing I can't describe it, but I'll try: it feels like your mum doing hot chocolate with marshmallows while you're sitting in the couch watching Christmassy movies in your favorite pajamas.
The best songs to try with rainymood besides Blood Bank are Flume.
If you come home really tired of work and need to relax or... work more (like my mum) just turn youtube on, go to rainymood and you'll relax! On the other hand, if you're a teenager sick of summer like me, just do it, it will bring you back to those awesome winter days!

Nutella hot chocolate recipe:

You need: nutella and milk- simple huh?

This is the full version of the recipe, on Shockingly Delicious , but I found it on Gojee (you know I love Gojee)

See ya! xxxx, Rita

No food Picnik

Unfortunately...... I have to tell you: MY PHONE ISN'T MM HOW CAN I SAY... WORKING! MY DAMN PHONE ISN'T WORKING, which leads me to a really sad and boring situation: I won't be able to blog much until it's fixed, though I promise to take pictures with Marta's cell phone and camera whenever I can! Here are some pictures of our No food Picnik!

so that's it. boooriiiiing, today we're going out tonight to chill and see the medieval stuff out there, xxx, Rita

my girl Jemima Kirke

Hey! Lately, I'm totally obsessing with Jemima Kirke!

She's 27, a painter and an actress and I knew about her on the HBO series GIRLS.
I guess I got easily obsessed with Jemima because she stands out a lot:

  • she's gorgeous, I adore her hair because it's huge and has a lovely colour.
  • her style is amazing- I can't really describe it, although it's around the 70's and many others.
  • she's got an awesome accent. She's from London, UK.
I started to watch GIRLS two days ago and then my interest for her grew bigger, so I googled her and saw some of her artwork, she's great! GREAT G-R-E-A-T!

Both  are self portraits she did and I simply adore the way she paints. I don't know, it's so lovely and relaxing...
Indeed, she seems to be a calm and lovely person! She's a mother of a baby girl named Raffaella, I guess she's 1! Bet she's a great mom!

Jemima's got two little zig zag tatoos on her left hand, I don't know its meaning, but it looks cute:

(Here, Jemima was photographed for The Artist is Present by Marina Abramovic)
But well, I guess that's all, she's great, blabla, try to watch GIRLS, it's worth it and also check Jemima's artwork out! This week my town is completely medieval! I'll take some pictures along with Marta tonight! xxx, Rita

Sunset Party

Hello fellow readers! I'd like to tell you how excited I am for tomorrow...
Whyyyy? Well, tomorrow there'll be a beach party in town, so I'm going to spend 8 hours here:

I'm not sure of the people I'll spend it with, but Marta (OF COURSE) will... I'm not sure of what I'm going to wear... PAMPAMPAPAPAPAPAAAAAM... I guess tomorrow I'll post something when I'm sure of it! xxx, Rita.

beehives and other big stuff- Lana Del Rey&Adele

Hey! Today I'm not going to do absolutely nothing! Cheers to the busy girl.
This summer, maybe, possibly, I'm going to ''work'' on a seamstress along with Marta, she's already there and we're not going to get paid or something, is just so we can learn more about it once we want to be fashion designers!
Alsooo, this summer I'm into flower crowns (thanks to all the rookie mag girls), beehives and 50's, 60's hair and I've been thinking of celebrities whose hairstyles are AWESOME:

You know her! she's so cute! As a singer  I'm not a huge fan, but her 50's, 60's style is really cool and she's really beautiful!
Check that beehive out, jeez she's perfect, head to toe...
I've seen her newest videoclip yesterday: 'National Anthem', where she's all Jacqueline Kennedy, which is great, because I love both... Hehe, me likey.

In the beggining she sings 'Happy birthday' like a Marilyn Monroe character, and then her song pops out and she appears as a Jackie Kennedy look-a-like!
Her videos always seem to be recorded with a Bolex,  because of all that vintage and oldie look that I adore The greatest thing is, that it's like she was born in the wrong era, she dresses like that in her daily life and her hair is always so awesome. ARGH .

I also adore Adele's hair...
While rising to fame she only stood out for her voice, but  when she started to reveal her newest album songs she stood out as an emerging style icon too...
...I can't describe precisely her style, but it's pretty old-fashioned and radiates a vintage feel, which is great:

She wears a lot black clothes and her hairstyles are always bulky, just like Lana's - around the 50's and 60's!

In "Rolling in the deeeeeeeheeheeep" she's really simple wearing a black dress and a beehive singing her heart out and that's it. The rest is just that ninja-like character, the drummer and the pyrotechnics. It's always like that and I like it because simplicity can be really glamorous!

Although they are totally different, they are kinda similar, not because of their music, but their style.

they both love:
  •  vintage
  •  beehives
  • bulky hairstyles from the 60's
  • eye cat eyeliner
  • nude and red lipstick
  • fake lashes!
I think that's it, today it's rainy and I'm still on my pajamas, I don't think taking photos of anything is worthy hahahaha. See you later! xx, Rita.

Daphne Addict(ed)

Hey there!
I have lots of favorite models, of them is Daphne Groenveld ... I feel like writing something about her...
... not like a huge bio, hell to the no!
So, Daphne is 18 (not sure if she's 19 already) and she is in this year's Dior Addict short film and ad- I loooove it!
She's kind of playing the role of Bridget Bardot, all lovely and confident walking in the beach and suddenly sharing her sweetness with everyone in the streets.

What I love the most about Daphne is her 'weirdness'... she looks like an alien.. In a good way, I mean, I'm saying  she's different from the usual... I love her mouth, it's huge, and her eyes? beautifully separated blue eyes, her nose? her nose is super cute and her hair is awesome... she's such a cutie!
Of course, it's not all about outter beauty, but inner... she seems to be really sweet, nice and I can see for the interviews and all , that she's got a great personality!

Now about the ad...
It shows Daphne all Madame Bardot, having lots fun changing clothes when she finds her perfume, Dior Addict and heads to the streets to share her love for everything and everyone as people fall in love with her too!

I like the pastel colors in the beggining, it gives me the impression of a ''cute and girly girl'' and suddenly in the second part, reds, dark blues and blacks, showing off a strong, sexy and confident girl, keeping it cute of course!
It's like it's showing us the perfume fits every situation, just like people having the ability of having the proper behavior in every situation... SAVOIR-FAIRE!

Of course, this is my interpretation, everyone has a different view from this, so... check it yourself :)

xxxxx, Rita
